WWA at Lowther with the BASC

10th and 11th August 2013. The W.W.A were invited by the BASC Northern Region to represent Wildfowling at the Lowther Show which was staged within the BASC marquee. A wide range of Wildfowling equipment was displayed and promoted including Wildfowlers clothing, duck and goose calls, decoys, mother lines, the WWA mallard nest tube, the Purdey Award, BASC's ringing scheme, non toxic shot and the lead shot ban as well as Videos of shooting on the WWA marshes, our Conservation work, Mallard Nest Tubes and Archive photos. An enormous amount of effort went into organising this event at short notice. We thank our 8 volunteers for making the event highly successful.
